The poker world moves fast and during massive events, it’s nearly impossible to keep track of everyone. Whether you’re following a high-stakes pro, a local hero from your home game, or a family member chasing a bracelet, PokerNews makes your life a whole lot easier with the launch of MyPlayers.
And it's now received a massive overhaul, introducing new features just in time for poker's annual summer camp. This new, free feature transforms how you consume live updates, and is available to all PokerNews users.
The action continued across the room as three Big Big Series events reached different stages.
In the $600 Big, Big 2nd Chance Championship Qualifier, 68 players returned from the break with another two hours of late registration still open. Once registration closed, the remaining field would turn its attention to the 15 guaranteed seats in the Main Event.
The $5,300 Big, Big Championship Main Event Day 1a also reached its second break. A total of 55 players had registered so far, with 45 of them still in contention and heading into a 15-minute break. Play was set to resume with blinds of 300/600/600.
Meanwhile, the $2,200 Big, Big Pot-Limit Omaha had reached its final five players. The remaining contenders are taking a short 15-minute break before returning to the felt to battle for the $59,725 first-place prize.
Once the bubble burst, two more players were sent to the rail in quick succession, bringing the field down to the final nine. With those eliminations, the final table was set, and the remaining players were one step closer to the title.
Brock Wilson led the final table in chips, followed by Jordan Glazer. At the other end of the leaderboard was Mitchel Mund, who brought just 1,000 chips to the final table, giving him not even a single big blind to work with.
With the field down to the stone bubble in the Big, Big Pot Limit Omaha event, two players at the final two tables found themselves automatically all-in from the blinds. Aaron Pinson was all-in in the big blind at one table, while Jhojan Rivera was all-in in the small blind at the other.
Rivera managed to double through Brock Wilson after making two pair, while Pinson found himself up against two opponents. Pinson rivered a full house to triple up, meaning both players survived the bubble.
A few hands later, Mike Dentale was also automatically all-in and found himself up against two players. This time, however, there was no escape, as Dentale was eliminated on the bubble.
Mitchel Mund opened to 35,000 from under the gun in the Big, Big Pot Limit Omaha and picked up two callers, with Aubrey Williams joining from the cutoff and Esther "Etay" Taylor calling on the button.
All three players checked the J♦5♦A♦ flop.
The 5♥ turn saw Mund fire 40,000. Williams folded, while Taylor moved all in for about 66,000. Mund asked for a count before making the call, and the cards were turned over.
Esther Taylor: A♥A♠7♠6♥
Mitchel Mund: A♣K♠K♣4♣
Taylor had turned a full house, and the 6♦ river changed nothing. Taylor secured the double-up and stayed alive on the bubble.
The $600 Big, Big 2nd Chance Championship Qualifier has just kicked off with 30 players taking their seats. With 15 seats to the Big, Big Championship guaranteed, players will battle through 30-minute levels with a 20,000 starting stack. Late registration remains open for eight levels.
Meanwhile, the $5,300 Big, Big Championship Main Event has 31 players heading into their first 15-minute break, with plenty more action still to come.
Despite losing two players in the first 30 minutes, 13 players remain in the $2,200 Big, Big Pot-Limit Omaha as they head into their first 15-minute break. The action will resume with the field continuing to battle on the soft bubble, with 11 players set to make the money.
Only one woman played this year's $50,000 Poker Players Championship at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), longtime American pro Esther Taylor. Taylor, who recently signed on as BetMGM Poker ambassador, is on a mission to change that by getting more women into mixed games.
Taylor has launched Her Edge Academy, a poker training program aimed specifically at helping women break through in poker. Taylor, who has $3.3 million in live tournament earnings and last year became the second woman ever to final table the PPC, told PokerNews she has always been passionate about coaching and mentoring women and girls, whether it's coaching her daughter's softball team or helping one of her old teams from high school.
The $5,300 Big, Big Championship has officially shuffled up and dealt for its first flight. With 13 hopefuls already in their seats and plenty more expected to join the action, players are battling for a chance to bag up for Day 2.
Meanwhile, 15 players have returned for Day 2 of the $2,200 Big, Big Pot-Limit Omaha event. With 11 spots paid, the remaining field is now battling to make the money and keep their run toward the title alive.
Day 7 of the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa's Big Big Series is here, and there is plenty of action on the schedule in Atlantic City.
