Level 26 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
John Port
John Port

John Port jammed for 445,000 from under the gun before George Grabe three-bet to 1,000,000 in the hijack. Erick Ortiz called in the cutoff, and all subsequent action folded.

On the 1096 flop, Grabe checked to Ortiz who jammed for about 2,000,000, and Grabe folded.

John Port: 55 All in
Erick Ortiz: K10

Ortiz had outflopped Port's pair, and he could not improve on the 9A runout as his run ended in seventh.

Two in a Row Give Grabe a Huge Double

Anthony LaRocca limped in and so did Robert Bernstein on the button and George Grabe in the small blind, Erick Ortiz checked in the big blind. They all checked the J85 flop to the 8 turn on which Grabe pushed all-in to force folds all around.

John Port then raised to 320,000 in the hijack and was called by Grabe and Ortiz on the button and small blind respectively.

The K96 flop was checked to Port who bet 400,000. Grabe slid forward a stack of T-100,000 chips for a raise to 2,000,000 and Ortiz folded. Port moved all-in and Grabe beat him into the pot.

George Grabe: A4 All in
John Port: AK

The 7 turn ensured the big double for Grabe ahead of the 3 river for massive 3,345,000, leaving Port on a severe short stack.

LaRocca Jams Up His Stack Further

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Robert Bernstein raised to 260,000 and Shane Brown called on the button. Anthony LaRocca then jammed out of the small blind.

"How much is that?" Bernstein inquired and it was deemed to be for 4,740,000, which had him covered. Bernstein opted to fold and Brown also sent his cards into the muck.

Bernstein Triples His Stack

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Robert Bernstein jammed his final 870,000 in the cutoff and Erick Ortiz quickly announced call from the small blind. Shane Brown in the big blind then moved all in covering the others. Ortiz had about 3,000,000 behind and he elected to fold after a small tank.

Robert Bernstein: A5 All in
Shane Brown: KQ

"God damnit, bro!" Ortiz exclaimed after seeing Brown's hand as the 1022 flop kept Bernstein in front and gave him a flush draw.

The board ran out 3J and Bernstein held on as he collected the full triple.

David Lu Eliminated in 8th Place ($3,165); Alan Johnson Eliminated in 9th Place ($2,565)

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Alan Johnson was all-in for his short stack of 68,000 in the cutoff before Vance Martin III jammed on the button and David Lu then called all-in from the small blind for more than 2.2 million.

Alan Johnson: QJ All in
David Lu: A9 All in
Vance Martin III: AK

The board ran out K6479 and Vance III had both opponents drawing dead on the turn. He was asked by his table mates if he was going to pull the bounties now and he replied "fuck yeah", walked away without stacking his chips.

"I thought he was stealing for the bounty," Lu said after the end of the showdown

While Vance III was gone, the table discussed if they would potentially consider chopping up the bounties if the big ones were still in play.

"Let's wait what he pulls," George Grabe said.

Vance III came back two minutes later when the next hand was already underway and showed his two bounty envelopes ... $27,650 and $6,125 ... the two largest bounties still in play.

"I am so happy for you," Robert Bernstein said and Martin III replied "me too" - no bragging or celebration. He made no progress on stacking up his chips in the next two minutes.

LaRocca Finds a Three to Double

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Anthony LaRocca jammed for 1,835,000 from the cutoff and Vance Martin III called in the small blind.

Anthony LaRocca: A3 All in
Vance Martin III: AJ

LaRocca needed some help to stay alive, which he found on the A43 flop as he made two pair. He still needed to avoid a jack or counterfeit pair, but the board ran out 7K, leaving his two pair best to double.

Brown Pressures Ortiz

Level 25 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Erick Ortiz opened to 300,000 in the hijack and Shane Brown called in the cutoff.

On the A106 flop, Ortiz led for 350,000 before Brown raised to 800,000, and Ortiz called.

Ortiz checked the 4 turn and Brown quickly pushed out a bet of 2,000,000, which forced Ortiz to fold after some deliberation.

Final Table Redraw

Level 24 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The blinds are now 60,000-120,000 with a big blind ante of 120,000 and there are 35 minutes remaining in the new level. Since the hands on both previous tables had taken very long, this will be the first hand at the new blind level.
