The at-risk player picked up a straight draw going to the river on a board of J♣5♦9♠10♠, but Garcia spiked the 6♥ to make a set and secure the knockout.
Aaron Fischer raised to 31,000 in early position and Craig Robertson called in the hijack. The button then moved all in for 257,000, and Fischer tanked for a minute before calling. Robertson quickly got out of the way.

Fischer had his opponent crushed with his tens, and he ended up improving to a full house on the 5♥5♣2♦10♣5♦ board to send his opponent to the rail.
"I was trying to think, would he do that with worse than tens? And the answer is yes, with less than 20 big blinds. 257 sounds like a lot, but it really isn't," Fischer explained after the hand as he moved up to around 550,000. Robertson, meanwhile, has around 620,000.
A player in middle position shoved for 60,000, Stanislas Garcin reshoved for 127,000 under the gun, and the hijack put both opponents at risk.

Garcin had both opponents dominated, and his king-kicker continued to play on the 5♦J♦6♦2♠7♣ board to earn him the pot. He doubled up off the hijack, while the middle-position player was sent to the rail.
The tournament clock has ticked down to 180 players remaining on Day 1e, bringing the field within 100 spots of the money. Only the top 82 players will bag up their chips for Day 2.
Steven Madara moved all in for 78,000 in the hijack and an opponent on the button called.

The board ran out 3♥7♣7♠2♥3♣, and Madara remained in the lead with his ace-high to win the pot and earn the double up.
"Let's see what one of those premiums looks like. You never get to see what they look like," tablemate Dhaval Joshi said as he pretended to peel Madara's cards. Joshi, though, appears to have had quite a few of big hands himself today, as he's currently sitting on a stack of around 700,000.
Randy Pisane is currently sitting with a monstrous stack of around 2,000,000, more than double anyone else in the room.

The river was the 5♠ and the big blind led out for another 75,000. Lin then moved all in, and his opponent, with around 120,000 remaining, tossed 8♦8♣ into the muck and surrendered the pot. Lin moved up to around 620,000 with that pot.
Tournament officials announced that play on Day 1e will conclude once 82 players are left. There are around 220 players remaining.
A player in early position raised to 17,000 and was called by two players, including Lingyu Zen in the cutoff.
All three players checked to the river on a board of 9♥10♠2♣7♦2♠. Zen then bet 75,000, and the early-position player raised to 175,000. Zen quickly called.
"I thought you had nothing," his opponent said as he mucked, and Zen turned over 7♣7♠ for a full house to win the pot and move up to around 550,000.
The $500 Omaha Hi-Lo event attracted 64 total entries, generating a prize pool of $27,200.
The top eight players will make the money, with the champion earning $9,230. The tournament clock currently shows 48 players remaining in Level 10.

The at-risk player remained in the lead on the 8♣6♦2♦ flop, but Matacale hit the Q♦ on the turn to move in front. The river was the 6♣, and Matacale earned the knockout.
"Things are going good for you, huh," a tablemate said to Matacale.
"Things have been going good, thanks for remembering," Matacale replied as he moved up past 600,000.
Late registration has ended on Day 1e of the $500 Almighty Stack. There were a total of 652 entries, with around 250 players remaining.
The number of players who will finish in the money and bag up for Day 2 should be announced shortly.
