The World Series of Poker may be in the books for another summer, but the live tournament calendar isn't slowing down.

The Borgata Summer Poker Open powered by BetMGM Poker got underway today in Atlantic City, with the opening flights of the $600 Deep Stack Kick Off ($1M GTD) drawing players through the doors of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

One of the marquee events on the schedule, the Deep Stack Kick Off has received a significant boost this year, with its guarantee jumping from $600,000 in 2025 to $1 million for this year's edition. Six starting flights will play out through Saturday before survivors return for Day 2 on Sunday.

And it didn't take long for the to heat up.
