A player limped in from early position - he accidentally tossed out an extra chip or two but the issue was resolved quickly - and Ilya Lemberg raised to 6,500 on his left. The action folded back to the limper, who called, and the dealer spread . The player checked, Lemberg continued for 12,000, and the limper moved all in.
Lemberg scrunched his face and checked his cards one last time, but tossed them into the muck, folding.
Over at an adjacent table, Kevin Grabel put in a raise to 10,700 on a flop of , and his opponent, who led out, called. The turn was the suicide king (), the player led out again - this time for 11,500 - and Grabel quickly called.
The river was the , the player moved all in for what looked like 30,000 or so, and Grabel folded.

With a flop of , Ian Crampton led out for 12,000 into a 20,000 chip pot. His opponent made it 27,000 to go and Crampton did not think long before announcing that he was all in. His opponent snap called and Ian grimaced, expecting his opponent to turn over a monster. It was merely top pair as he had , which was a hand Crampton could beat with . After the turn and river sent his opponent to the rail, Crampton breathed a sigh of relief.
"I didn't want to see clubs," he said, quickly stacking his new found chips.

We missed the betting action but caught the tail end of a clash between Natale Kuey and Brett Limoncelli, with the latter ending up victorious.
The final board read and Kuey had his displayed in front of his stack. Unfortunately for him, Limoncelli flopped trips with his and the pot was being pushed his way.
Kuey was left with just a big blind or two after the loss, and he headed for the exits just two hands later.

A player in the cutoff opened to 4,500 and James Woods came along from the hijack.
Sean Wallace held the button and with his stack hovering near the danger zone, he made his stand with a three-bet shove for 17,200. The action folded around to the original bettor, and he also announced himself all in for about 20,000 or so.
Woods then went for a tour of the tank, thinking things over for about two minutes while apologizing to the table for his delay.
"I really have a hand here guys," he said. "Sorry, just need to think it through..."
Eventually, after telling himself he had the best hand, Woods declined to call the bet, folding his face up. Wallace flipped up his to find himself in a race against the cutoff's .
That race ended in a flash when the dealer fanned the flop, as Wallace's set of sevens left the cutoff's big slick virtually drawing dead. When the turn came the hand was over, and the on the river made things official.
Woods, for his part, was quite pleased to see that he made the correct laydown, while Wallace doubled through to keep himself in contention late on Day 1b.

With the flop showing , Megan Milburn led out for 5,000 and was raised by her lone opponent in the 3 seat to 16,000. Milburn moved all in for the rest of her stack and was called. Megan turned over and was in the lead as the 3 seat had pocket . The turn was the giving Milburn's opponent additional outs to a straight but it would not be the straight that would felt Megan, it would be the . That gave her opponent a full house.
"Oh well," shrugged Milburn. Surely she'll be back for more tomorrow but her play here today is done.
