Jamie Kerstetter is a local player gone good. A member of the all female poker player group "The Grindettes", the New Jersey native is here today taking part in the poker festivities. The former attorney has an impressive poker resume that includes $520,360 in confirmed online tournament winnings and $373,379 in reported live winnings. This includes a 12th place finish at the WPT Borgata Poker Open in 2012.
She finds herself at the same table as her roomie, Patricia Haggerty. Usually the odds against that happening are pretty slim but as Kerstetter explained "they go up when you late reg together." Jamie had been living in Mexico in order to play online poker but since she signed a sponsorship deal with Party Poker has been back representing the site here in New Jersey and the United States. "It's going good," she said, a smile on her face as she plays the game she loves.

Steve Dannenmann is in the house, and whenever the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up is around there are likely to be more smiles than usual.
America fell in love with the Maryland native when he made is deep run in the Big One because of his carefree mentality, and his down-to-Earth mantra is unchanged.
After banking $4.25 million in 2005, some of Dannenmann's biggest scores have come right here at Borgata. He finished 11th in the 2008 WPT Borgata Poker Open for $65,000, and took down a side event in the 2011 Borgata Winter Open for $37,679.

We catch up to the action at Anna Khait's table with the board showing . Anna has checked and her opponent, two spots to her left, fires out a bet of 4,500. Khait thinks for a moment and makes the call.
The river is the and Khait quickly checks. Her opponent fires out another bet, this time for 10,200. Anna's eyes dart over and she grabs her phone and turns the screen off. She looks down at the board and tilts her neck back and forth as if it is sore. Chips are shuffling in her right hand and a perplexed look comes over her face as she peeks at her cards and then glances back at her foe.
Khait looks as if she is going to call when she takes two 5,000 chips and places them on her stack of 100 chips. She motions to the dealer with one finger as if to say "just a minute" and then takes the 5,000 chips back off the 100 chips. She pushes her chair back slightly and asks her nemesis "show if I fold?"
He is silent. No response. Khait fiddles with her hair and then decides to make the call. Her opponent shows for a flopped set of deuces and Anna mucks, sticks her tongue out slightly in frustration and shakes her head.
