There are two monster stacks at Table 2 over in the Poker Room; Brett Richey is over a million with 1,300,000 chips, and his next door neighbor Chris Nugent has over 900,000.
There's a potential for real fireworks between these two players during the bubble, so we'll keep an eye out for any big hands.
For now, as we approach the bubble, enjoy this video:

The last of Izzet Temel's chips were just claimed after he open-shipped for his last 135,000 or so.
Temel was called in one spot by Karl Held, and he asked his opponent "do you have an ace?" while tabling his own .
Unfortunately for Temel, the answer was in the affirmative, as Held silently rolled over his to put a hammerlock on the hand.
The flop rained down to provide a bit of hope for Temel, and he called for a queen to arrive for the tournament-saving chop. Twas not to be though, as the turn () and river () bricked off to leave him with no pair, and no more chips.
Held surged above the 550,000-chip plateau as the money bubble approaches, putting himself in comfortable position to earn a coveted cash.

There was a shove from early position for 87,000, Tim Kelliher called in the cutoff, and Robin Cantone moved all in for an additional 40,000 from the big blind. Kelliher was unhappy, but was priced in to call.

Cantone was in great shape to double as both of her opponents held the same hand, and she held up as the board rolled out . Cantone now has 350,000 chips, while Kelliher slipped to 275,000.

One of the biggest stacks in play at the moment belongs to Pennsylvania grinder Sean Wallace, who currently holds more than 825,000 to work with.
Wallace has more than $100,000 in reported live earnings, including a 1st place score at the 2013 Borgata Winter Poker Open worth $24,381, the young semi-pro will surely be a force to be reckoned with as the bubble approaches.

The tournament is now on a momentary break as staff work through the room to color up the purple T500 chips.
Play will resume shortly, so stay tuned as the last 300 runners remaining try to weave their way through the minefield and into the money.
We just saw longtime pro Luke Edwards make his way into the Signature Room to take his seat in Event 2, which means his Day 2 run in this event has come to an end.
Edwards had a humorous take on the bustout, which we bring to you courtesy of Twitter:
Apparently exfoliating, good cologne, and sitting next to a pretty girl won't win tournaments. #SpringPokerOpen #timefornewtechniquesFollow @7thecho
