Brittney Barnes

Three players to the flop of {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and they checked it around. On the {k-Diamonds} turn card, Brittney Barnes (sb) fired 300,000, Benson Tang (bb) folded, then Mitchell Smith (cutoff) called.

Heads-up to the {6-Spades} river, they checked it down and Barnes announced "two pair", tabling {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Smith mucked and Brittney took the pot, pulling slightly ahead of Benson Tang.

Level 31 : 80,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Ilya Dyment
Ilya Dyment

A battle between the blinds saw an open from Benson Tang for 480,000, then Ilya Dyment (bb) jammed. Tang snapped, tabling {a-Spades}{q-Spades}. Dyment's {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} was dominated.

The board fell {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and although it was all low cards as Dyment requested, they failed to improved his hand. Tang's ace-queen took the pot unimproved and he's now playing north of 14 million, once again in the chip lead.

Ilya Dyment hit the rail in 9th place, earning $19,674.

Level 31 : 80,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Brittney Barnes
Brittney Barnes

Brittney Barnes opened to 400,000 from middle position and Frank Marasco three-bet to 1,400,000. Barnes called, the dealer fanned out {q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} on the flop and Barnes tapped the table.

Marasco pushed in 900,000 and Barnes moved all in without hesitation for more than enough to cover her opponent. Marasco took a quick moment to think, ultimately he let his hand go and Barnes pulled in the pot with her check-shove.

On the {9-Clubs} turn, Barnes again checked to Jackson, who tossed in a bet of 1.4 million, which she called.

River was the {5-Hearts} and they checked it down. Barnes had {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of queens with jack kicker, but Jackson had {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens with king kicker to take the pot.

The {q-Diamonds} river got another check from Barnes and Tang launched a salvo of 1,675,000. She called, only to muck her hands when he showed {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for aces-up.

Tang now has more than 19 million and a firm grasp on the chip lead among the final eight players.

McGuinness Doubles Thru Jackson

Level 32 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
John McGuinness
John McGuinness

John McGuinness opened for 450,000 from the hijack, getting called by David Jackson (button) and the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} and the big blind checked, McGuinness fired 750,000, Jackson tossed in a raise, the blind folded, and McGuinness jammed for 6.37 million total. Jackson snap-called and showed his {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for top pair. He was ahead, but McGuinness' {a-Spades}{7-Spades} had a lot of outs with the flush draw and overcard.

The {2-Spades} on the turn completed his flush and Jackson was drawing dead, so the {9-Hearts} river was irrelevant. McGuinness dragged the huge pot, doubling to 14.39 million.

David Jackson watched his stack shrink to roughly 3.6 million.
