Day 1d Started
The 2019 Borgata Poker Open (BPO) is about to kick off the fourth of six starting flights in Event #1: $600 Deepstack Kick-Off. The tournament, which offers a $1 million guarantee, does allow for best stack forward, so even if players make it through either of today's flights they can fire any of the additional flights. Day 1c is currently wrapping up, and you can follow that flight by clicking here.
On Tuesday, two starting flights played out with Day 1a drawing 192 runners and 1b an additional 112. From the current 304-entry field, 25 made it through Day 1a and nine from 1b. Leading the former was Kenny Han with an immense 593,000, while Sridhar Sangannagari bagged the big stack in the latter flight with 810,000.
Players will start with 25,000 in chips and late registration and re-entries will be available through Level 12. Levels 1-16 will last 30 minutes each, while Levels 17 and beyond will be 50 minutes each. Day 3 will see levels increase to one hour. The Day 1 flights are scheduled to play until the end of Level 16 or at the tournament director's discretion.

Krasnecky returned to checking and the player in the cutoff followed suit. The button then bet 3,000 and for the second time, Krasnecky check-raised it, this time making it 9,000 to go. The player in the cutoff thought long and hard before releasing his hand and the button called.

A two-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner is currently in action in the Day 1d field.
Ryan Eriquezzo is fresh off winning the 2019 WSOP Global Casino Championship for the second time in his career, good for $279,431. He previously won the tournament back in 2012 for $416,051 when it was called the WSOP National Championship. Interestingly, the man he beat heads-up this year, Eric Salazar, is also here at the Borgata competing in the Day 1c flight.
Eriquezzo is a beast when it comes to poker in Atlantic City; in fact, it was here in New Jersey that he qualified for the aforementioned tournaments thanks to victories in WSOP Circuit Main Events, the latest good for $124,397.
Only time will tell if Eriquezzo can keep the heater turned on here at the 2019 Borgata Poker Open!
