Poon Takes Down a Monster

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The flop showed {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and there was around 9,500 in the pot. The player in seat 6 bet 3,700 and Stanley Poon called to see the {q-Diamonds} turn card.

Both players checked and the {k-Spades} landed on the river. Seat 6 bet 9,200 and Poon instantly raised to 30,000. Seat 6 moved all in for around 62,000 and Poon said "If you've got the nut-flush you're good," as he slammed in a stack to call.

Seat 6 tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for two pair and Poon turned over {j-Spades}{10-Spades} for a rivered flushed, giving him more than enough to take down the pot and eliminate his opponent.

Mark Warren: {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Early Position {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Late Position: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}

The early position player flopped the nut straight but the dealer burned and turned the {q-Diamonds} improving Warren to a full house. The {j-Spades} river card sealed the deal for Warren and he scooped the pot.

Vargas Dodges, Sande Takes an Exit

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

The flop read {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and there was around 4,000 in the pot. Radhames Vargas threw in a bet and Leonard Sande moved all in for his last 32,000. Vargas called and the two tabled their hands with Sande at risk.

Leonard Sande: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Radhames Vargas: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Vargas was ahead but needed to dodge a club to take down the pot. The turn brought even more outs for Sande as a {5-Hearts} peeled off, giving him an open ender to go with his flush draw. A brick completed the board when the dealer turned over a {6-Diamonds}, failing to improve Sande and he was eliminated by Vargas' flopped ten.

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Ryan DePaulo
Ryan DePaulo

A player raised to 1,500 from under the gun and six players called. With the action on Ryan DePaulo in the big blind he re-raised to 14,000. The under the gun player moved all in for 42,000 and it folded back to DePaulo.

After giving it some thought DePaulo begrudgingly called turning over {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and his opponent showed {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. The dealer spread the {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop and DePaulo paired his jack in the window to take the lead.

The turn brought the {j-Spades} and DePaulo improved to trip jacks leaving his opponent drawing dead. The {a-} completed the board and DePaulo earned the pot and the knockout.
