Praisman Off to Another Hot Start

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Arie Praisman
Arie Praisman

Arie Praisman just days ago was part of an adjusted payout chop in Event #23: $300 Deepest Stack NLH and started the final day as the overall chipleader after running up an absurd lead on the last flight to make it through.

Praisman has continued his run-well here in Day 1e of the Almighty Stack as the first player to eclipse the million mark and shows no sign of slowing down with just one level remaining in the night.

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tony Sinishtaj
Tony Sinishtaj

Tony Sinishtaj has turned up in Flight E at one of the late registration tables, which has now broken.

Sinishtaj won the 2017 Borgata Summer Poker Open Almighty Stack NLH tournament. That year there were only four starting flights, not six, and saw a total of 1,863 entrants.

When they reached the final four, he was the chip leader and a deal was struck giving him first place, the trophy, and an even $95,000* in what was his first Borgata title.

Hen Dodges Some Cards to Double

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The flop read {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} and there was around 35,000. A player bet out and Ory Hen moved all in for 99,500. Hen's opponent called and the two tabled their hands.

Ory Hen: {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Opponent: {j-Spades}{4-Spades}

The {3-Hearts} landed on the river and Hen needed to dodge to stay alive. An {a-Clubs} completed the board, changing nothing as Hen secured a complete double with his flopped ten.

Assorted Chip Counts

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Koliner Makes Tough Call

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
John Koliner
John Koliner

In a blind vs. blind confrontation, Seat 8 (sb) and John Koliner (bb) got to the river with a board of {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. Seat 8 bet 7,500 and it took Koliner a moment to consider. He said something suspecting the small blind might have "ace-king", but opted to call.

Seeing his opponent table {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of Jacks was much better news as his {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} was the same pair with superior kicker. That pot took Koliner's stack up to 345,000.
