Break Time

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

End of level and time for the first 15 minute break of the day! Players are scattering like leaves in the wind to take advantage of this short respite from the game.

Funaro Runs Into Aces

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Frank Funaro
Frank Funaro

Frank Funaro was up to more than 1.5 million, but ran his {a-}{k-} into pocket aces.

Now he's back to just over 1 million, below where he started the day but still a workable 40 big blinds.

Sridhar Sangannagari Climbs Past 2 Million

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Sridhar Sangannagari
Sridhar Sangannagari

Sridhar Sangannagari was the chip leader at the start of the day with more than 1.5 million chips.

He's pushed that number past the 2 million chip mark and has been moved to Table 2, to the right of recent WSOP Circuit ring winner Tyler Phillips.

As far as we can tell, he's the one to beat at this point, but there's still a long way to go just to reach the money at the final 250 players.

Recent WSOP-C Ring Winner In Contention

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Tyler Phillips
Tyler Phillips

Nearly lost among the 400 or so remaining players in the Almighty Stack is a recent WSOP Circuit ring winner. Tyler Phillips claimed his first WSOP hardware last month at Harrah's Cherokee, winning Event #2: $400 No-Limit Hold’em. First place was good for $123,216 and it's by far his best live cash.

He's doing well, up to 690,000 from the 227,000 with which he started the day.
