Goldner Doubles Through Dentale

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

[Removed:438] raised to 3,000 from under the gun and was called by Mike Dentale in the middle position while the rest of the table folded.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for Goldner to check-shove for 9,400 after Dentale put in a bet. Dentale asked for a count and the dealer confirmed the amount. Dentale made the call.

Both players kept their cards closed for a few seconds with Goldner finally revealing {7-Clubs}{7-} while Dentale held {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

The rest of the board was completed with the {5-Clubs} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river for Goldner to stay ahead and double up.

"Two-Dollar Dave" Hausmann Chipping Up Early

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
"$2" Dave Hausmann
"$2" Dave Hausmann

Dave Hausmann, a.k.a. "Two-Dollar Dave", always has a $2 bill handy, stamped with his name, at the table. He handed this one over to Din Tien after Tien picked up a nice pot.

Hausmann is up to 140,000, but had a bit more before losing a bit shortly after this photo was taken.

He took sixth place in the Omaha/Stud High/Low mixed event during last November's Fall Poker Open, earning $1,174. His best live cash came in the 2018 WSOP Main Event where he finished 1,073rd for $15,000.

Fisher Running Pure Today

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Don Fisher
Don Fisher

The flop read {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} with some chips in the middle already.

The player in the middle position shoved for the player in the late position to fold but for Don Fisher in the cutoff to snap-call with the bigger stack.

Middle Position: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Don Fisher: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Fisher had flopped top pair with the flush draw while his opponent held middle pair with the straight draw.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} for Fisher to make the flush and leave his opponent drawing dead.

The {q-Clubs} completed the board as a formality as Fisher commented: "I am running pure today," while stacking up his newly acquired chips.

Gottlieb Busted by Tien

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Din Tien
Din Tien

Jon Gottlieb (small blind) got his last chips in holding {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} against Din Tien (big blind) who had {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The runout of {q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} was too little, too late, for Gottlieb, who was felted. (He's got the option to re-enter, however.) Tien took the pot with queens-up.
