Out and Back In

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Gagliano Getting Shorter

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The player in the under-the-gun position raised and was called by the player in the cutoff, and Michael Gagliano and Naceim Qarmout in the blinds.

They all checked through the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop to the {9-Clubs} on the turn. Gagliano and Qarmout both check-called the 4,000 continuation0bet of the initial raiser while the cutoff folded.

The river completed the board with the {j-Spades}, Gagliano checked, Qarmout bet 13,000 and that was enough to pick up the pot.

The BorgataPoker.com Sponsored Pro was eliminated shortly after.

Queens No Good for Stone

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Katie Stone
Katie Stone

Katie Stone opened for 2,600, got one caller, then Duff Charette in the big blind three-bet to 8,000. Stone jammed for 23,000 the caller folded, and Charette called, having Stone well covered.

Her pocket Queens were way ahead of his pocket Jacks, but the board ran out {a-}{a-}{j-}{k-}{6-} giving Charette a full house on the flop. Stone, who was free-rolling this event after winner her seat in the Charity Series of Poker event Saturday night, was eliminated.

Still In and Some Out

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Furey Flops Set and Felts Zarco

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Charles Furey
Charles Furey

On a flop of {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} all the chips went in and Javier Zarco tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for top pair. He was at risk and way behind against Charles Furey's {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for middle set.

The {4-Spades} turn gave Furey a boat and left Zarco looking for one of two remaining nines. The {k-Clubs} on the river sealed his fate, for this buy-in at least. He was eliminated, but still has the option to re-enter.

Furey pulled the pot and is playing about 160,000
