Mitchell Gets Back at Landais

Not long ago, Ricky Landais had won a decent pot off Joel Mitchell and the roles would be reversed now.

In a single-raised pot to the K62 flop, Landais check-called for 65,000 and checked again the 7 on the turn. Mitchell bet another 185,000 for Landais to call.

They slowed down and checked the A river after which Mitchell announced a set and showed his 77, Landais mucked.

Mitchell briefly fist-pumped after turning away with his chair before stacking up the chips.

The 923 flop was safe for Kim, and he remained in the lead through the 4 turn and J river to double up.

Rinaldi Snaps Off Guan

"One more double and I'll be off tilt, boys," Mike Dentale said as Concetta Rinaldi raised to 60,000 under the gun. Ricky Guan called in the big blind.

Rinaldi bet 50,000 on the Q92 flop, and Guan called. Both players then checked the 4 turn.

Guan led out for 90,000 on the 3 river, and Rinaldi snap-called with AQ. Guan mucked, and Rinaldi took the pot.

Verderamo Surpasses Chadha

Nicholas Verderamo limped the small blind and Carlos Chadha Villamarin in the big blind checked to the 554 flop. Verderamo led for 35,000 and called a raise to 150,000 by Chadha Villamarin.

On the 7 turn, Verderamo check-called for 130,000 and they checked the 10 on the river.

"Seven," Verderamo announced and his Q7 won the pot.

Landais, Dentale Get Shoves Through

Gregory Bauer raised to 65,000 in middle position and was called by Joel Mitchell in the hijack, James Tedrow on the button, and Ricky Landais in the big blind.

Mitchell bet 85,000 on the 564 flop, and only Landais called. Both players then checked the 6 turn.

The river was the 5 and Landais moved all in for 450,000. Mitchell folded, and Landais took the pot.

At the other table, Russ Dunlevy bet 150,000 from the big blind on a flop of 3J9 and Mike Dentale moved all in for 415,000 in early position. "I don't know what to do," Dunlevy said as he took a minute before folding. Dentale showed him AJ as he took the pot.

Rinaldi Battles With Weng

Bin Weng raised and Concetta Rinaldi called on the button for both to check the K108 flop. On the 5 turn, Weng's bet of 45,000 was called and he checked the 4 on the river. Rinaldi bet 160,000 and Weng folded.

Rinaldi then opened to 60,000 and Weng in the big blind used a time bank extension before he three-bet to 235,000, Rinaldi snap-folded.

Chadha Bets Big on the River

Carlos Chadha raised to 65,000 in the hijack and Michael Renna called in the big blind.

The flop came 7Q5 and Chadha continued for 35,000. Renna called to see the 8 turn, where he led out for 60,000. Chadha called, and the 4 fell on the river.

Renna checked this time, and Chadha then bet 365,000. Renna folded.

Dunlevy and Dentale Shove

Maxwell Young opened to 65,000 and Russ Dunlevy then gave it some thought before he pushed all-in. All players behind and Young folded.

"Do you have a pair?" Dentale asked and was shown AQ by Dunlevy. "I was gonna shove deuces," Dentale added.

After the hand, more table chat emerged after which Ricky Guan exclaimed that everyone now knew how Bin Weng played.

"I don't think I play the same hand the same every time. You can try to figure me out ... that's why I often show my cards," Weng replied.

"I like the flat with ace king, you got Mike so bad," Weng then mentioned thereafter.

Went opened the next hand to 60,000 and folded when Dentale pushed all-in.

Adam Agaev moved all in for 200,000 on the button and Maxwell Young called in the small blind, while Bin Weng took a moment before giving up his big blind.

Agaev picked up a flush draw on the J65 flop, but he couldn't connect with the 7 turn or K river and was eliminated in 18th place.

Weng admitted after the hand he folded king-jack. "Bin, you're too tight now. 2023, you would've been all in," Ricky Guan said.
