Day 1b of the $2,200 Mystery Bounty Event as part of The Return - A Borgata Championship Event wrapped up after 12 levels of play and saw over a hundred players of the 554 runners advance to Day 2.
Of the notable players bagging at the end of the night, one of the largest stacks was Soukha Kachittavong who bagged up 364,900. The Rhode Island native has about 1.6 million in career earnings. He accumulated much of his stack late in the night as he eliminated two players in a single hand where his aces appeared to initially be cracked by a set but he hit the nut flush on the turn to gather the big boon which he rode to the end of the night.
Jason Deutsch was another beneficiary of a big three-way all in to gather a large amount of chips when his pocket jacks cracked queens and kings on the flop. He was able to finish the night with an impressive stack of 280,100, which was among the leaders.
Some other large notable stacks to end the night were WSOP bracelet winners Yaser Al-Keliddar who bagged up 285,900, Anthony Spinella who finished with 273,800 and Anthony Zinno with 261,900.
There were many players who were not able to secure a bag to Day 2 including; Darren Elias and Steve Dannenmann who was unable to roll back the years on his past success.
The Day 1a and Day 1b survivors will combine on Day 2, which will commence on Jan. 3 at noon local time and will play down to a winner.
Mystery Bounties will start at 300 players and the minimum Mystery Bounty prize will be $500. Additional prizes include 20 prizes of $1,000, 24 prizes of $2,500, 11 prizes of $5,000, five prizes of $10,000, four prizes of $25,000, three prizes of $50,000, two prizes of $100,000 and a Grand prize of $250,000.

Jason Deutsch called attention to his table as he had just been the beneficiary of a massive hand that surged him toward the top of the chip counts.
His hand of was showing, as was the of Dusti Smith and the of a shorter stacked all-in player.
The board displayed , showing that it was the flop that had launched Deutsch into the lead, crushing the kings and queens.
Deutsch's stack of 136,000 was taken from Smith as she was denied what would have been a huge chip lead as she got up from the table to try and walk off the frustration.
Deutsch also added the 37,000 from the player holding queens to his stack to move him above 300,000, as he now sits among the top stacks in the room.
