Foxen Makes Palma's Day
Action folded to Alex Foxen on the button and the always vocal Nick Palma goaded him to make a move from the big blind.
"Go ahead, make my day!" Palma said in what sounded like a New Yorker rendition of Dirty Harry.
Foxen did raise to 2,600 and the small blind called, while Palma also came along. Action checked to Foxen on the flop of and he bet 2,700. The small blind check-raised to 8,000 and Palma folded as he told another player at the table that he hadn't smoked a cigarette since the 2022 World Series of Poker. Foxen also folded.
"It would've gotten through if he didn't have ace-queen," Foxen said.
"I was going to raise if he didn't," said Palma.
"I would have three-bet!" replied Foxen. "I had the perfect hand: ten-four of diamonds."
"Yeah, you could have turned the world," agreed Palma.
