A hand after their previous encounter, Diego Ventura opened to 160,000 in the cutoff and Rafael Mota called in the big blind.
Ventura continued for 200,000 on the 7♠5♠2♣ flop and Mota called. The turn was the K♠ and Ventura bet 300,000.
Mota called and both players checked the 8♥ river. Mota showed 8♣7♦ for two pair and Ventura mucked.
Ventura opened again to 160,000 the next hand and Mota called in the small blind. The flop came K♦J♦2♣, Ventura bet 220,000, and Mota called.
Ventura bet 350,000 on the 4♦ turn and Mota folded this time.
The next hand, Ventura once more raised to 160,000 under the gun and Mota moved all in for 2,200,000 on the button. Ventura took around 30 seconds before folding as the field headed off on dinner break.
After being down to just over a big blind, Joao Vieira managed to triple up on the next hand with top pair on the flop. Following that, Dennys Ramos raised to 160,000 in the hijack and Vieira defended from the big blind.
The flop fell 5♥2♠2♥ and Vieira checked to Ramos who continued with a bet of 200,000. Vieira called off his last 130,000 chips and the cards were tabled.
Joao Vieira: K♥7♦
Dennys Ramos: 3♠3♥
Vieira had two over cards to hit against the pair of Ramos. He spiked it right away on the 7♥ turn card and held on through the Q♥ river to score another double up.
Rafael Mota raised to 175,000 under the gun and Diego Ventura three-bet to 480,000 on the button. Mota then four-bet to 1,100,000 and Ventura called.
The flop came 5♦3♦2♦ and Mota bet 250,000. Ventura called and the 8♥ fell on the turn.
Mota slowed down and checked, and Ventura bet 650,000. Mota spent nearly two minutes in the tank before folding as Ventura took the big pot.
Santiago Plante limped in with A♦K♦ from the small blind and Dennys Ramos checked his option with Q♠J♣. The flop came K♥Q♦2♦ and Plante led out with a bet of 120,000 which Ramos called.
The turn brought the 3♦ and Plante picked up the checkmark with a flush. He checked it over to Ramos who didn't take the bait and checked it back.
The river was the 7♠ and Plante checked once more. Ramos went for thin value with a bet of 300,000 only to have Plante raise to 1,200,000. Ramos gave it some thought but decided to send his cards to the muck.
Marcos Kenne raised to 160,000 on the button with K♣Q♥ and Breno Drumond called from the small blind with 10♦8♦. Joao Vieira squeezed from the big blind with A♠4♦ and only Kenne called.
The flop came J♠5♣3♠ and Vieira continued with a bet of 575,000 and Kenne floated to see the Q♠ on the turn. Vieira led out with another bet of 1,000,000 and Kenne still called.
The K♥ completed the board and Vieira announced a bet of 3,300,000, leaving himself with just 100,000 behind. Kenne snapped him off after making two pair and scooped a massive pot to leave Vieira on crumbs.
William Fernandes was forced all in from the big blind and was up against small blind Paulo Goncalves.
William Fernandes: 3♥2♦
Paulo Goncalves: K♠Q♦
Goncalves hit two pair on the A♣A♠Q♣ flop and left Fernandes drawing dead after the 10♣ turn. The river was the 6♥ and the start-of-day chip leader was sent to the rail in 13th place.
William Fernandes raised to 160,000 under the gun and Paulo Goncalves called in the big blind.
The flop came K♣5♣2♥ and Fernandes bet 125,000. Goncalves then raised to 300,000 and Fernandes called.
Goncalves checked the A♠ turn and Fernandes bet 505,000. Goncalves instantly moved all in for 1,910,000 and Fernandes took a minute before calling.
Goncalves showed 5♦2♦ for two pair, while Fernandes had A♦Q♠ for top pair. The 6♣ fell on the river and Goncalves held on to double up, leaving the start-of-day chip leader as an extreme short stack.
Murilo Milhomem raised to 175,000 in the cutoff and Diego Ventura and Blas Torres called in the blinds.
Milhomem continued for 225,000 on the Q♣J♠9♦ flop and only Torres called. The 2♣ fell on the turn and Milhomem bet 400,000. Torres again called.
The river was the 8♣ and Milhomem moved all in. Torres, sitting with around 1,600,000 left in his stack, stayed buried inside his hoodie for a minute before surrendering the pot.
Marcos Kenne raised to 175,000 in the hijack with K♦8♦ and Robert Burlacu three-bet to 800,000 in the small blind, leaving just 95,000 behind. Santiago Plante flat-called from the big blind and Kenne got out of the way.
The flop came A♥9♣2♠ and Burlacu checked to Plante who put the last of his chips in the middle. Burlacu thought for a moment before calling off his last bit of chips.
Robert Burlacu: 7♥7♣
Santiago Plante: A♣J♦
Plante flopped the best hand with a pair of aces and the 3♣ turn nor the Q♦ river would help Burlacu who was eliminated.
