Martins Up and Running

Stewart Morrison

Level 2 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Eudes Martins opened to 3,000 from the small blind, and Reyes Ortega called, defending his big blind.

Martins continued for 4,000 on the 3♥3♣9♥ flop, which Ortega called.

Both players then checked the A♣ turn before Martins put 6,000 into the pot on the 5♦ river.

A curious Ortega made the call, only to be shown bad news as Martins flipped over A♠J♣ to take the pot down.
