Teich Hits Quads For a Bustout
Level 6
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
A massive pot was brewing as a player in the hijack was all in for around 120,000, while Thiago Teich put him at risk in middle position.
All-in Player: A♦K♣
Thiago Teich: Q♦Q♠
It was a classic flip, and Teich hit top set on the Q♥5♥J♣ flop to take a big lead, while his opponent was left looking to complete a straight draw. The turn, though, was the Q♣ and Teich made quads to secure the pot. The river came the 8♦ and the pot was pushed over to Teich, while his opponent made his exit.
