Krashennikova Hangs On For a Massive Double Off Derci
Level 10
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Around 200,000 was already in the pot as three players went to the turn on a board of 3♠4♠J♣2♥. Daria Krashennikova then bet 125,000 from the big blind, and Felipe Derci moved all in from under the gun.
An opponent on the button folded, but Krashnnikova snap-called for 290,000. Derci showed J♦J♠ for top set, but Krashnnikova had A♠5♠ for a straight and nut flush draw.
Krashnnikova needed to avoid the board pairing to earn the massive double up, and she dodged the 9♣ river as she vaulted up among the chip leaders near the end of the night.
