Final Table Ticket in Sight For 24 Players on Day 4 of the $6,000 BSOP Championship
A spot at the final table is within reach for the remaining 24 players when Day 4 of the R$30,000 ($6,000 US) Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) Championship begins at 2 p.m. local time.
What began as a massive field of 714 players chasing the largest guaranteed prize pool in Latin American poker history has been reduced to just three tables over the last few days. Bernardo Soares starts the day as chip leader with 5,625,000. The Salvador native has nearly $230,000 in live tournament earnings, including winning the LAPT Grand Final here at the WTC Sheraton in Sao Paulo at around this same time last year, and is in the best position to secure a seat among the final nine.
