Tonin Smacks the River to Decimate Nizzato
Level 25
: Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Frederico Nizzato raised to 320,000 in the cutoff and Giorgio Tonin called on the button.
The flop came A♠2♠J♠ and Nizzato bet 175,000. Tonin called, and the 6♣ turn was checked by both players.
Nizzato also checked the 8♦ river, and Tonin then bet 1,150,000. Nizzato tanked for a few minutes before calling, and Tonin turned over 8♣8♠ for a rivered set to win the pot.
