2025 BSOP Super High Roller Series
Ariel Celestino raised to 8,000 from the cutoff, again into the big blind of Leonardo Rizzo. Rizzo called.
Rizzo opted for a check-raise on the 10♦3♣A♣ flop, putting 20,000 into the middle after Celestino had bet 8,000. Celestino called.
The 5♣ turn and the 5♦ river saw the action check through.
Rizzo announced he had an ace, as he turned over A♥4♠, and Celestino mucked his cards.
Paulo Joanello moved all in for 26,000, and Giuseppe Calio called.
Paulo Joanello: J♥10♠
Giuseppe Calio: A♠10♣
The dealer spread a jack-high flop, which saw Joanello fire into the lead.
There was no comeback for Calio, as the board bricked out, giving Joanello a double up.
Isabella Costa opened in early position before calling the shove of Renan Meneguetti for 25,000.
Renan Meneguetti: J♥J♣
Isabella Costa: Q♦10♣
The 5♣2♥5♥8♦K♣ runout was of no danger to Meneguetti, seeing him double up.

The remaining players are taking their final 15-minute break of the day.
When they return, play will continue for two more levels before the survivors bag up for Day 2.
With roughly 50,000 chips in the middle and a board dealt to a turn showing 6♣4♥J♣8♦, action was on Igor Picone.
Playing from the big blind, Picone checked the action over to Ariel Celestino under the gun. Celestino put 100,000 into the middle, and after a few moments, Picone folded.
Picone was curious, though, and put his one-time 'Winner Showdown' card into the middle, forcing Celestino to show his cards.
Celestino flipped over Q♥Q♣.
Ariel Celestino opened to 6,000 from the cutoff, which only Leonardo Rizzo called from the big blind.
The dealer spread a K♦4♥K♠ flop, and when the action checked to him, Celestino continued for 4,500.
Rizzo took a look at his cards, and then another look, before opting to fold.
Isabella Costa raised to 6,000 from early position before calling a three-bet to 17,000 from Daniel Aziz on the button.
Seeing a A♥3♣K♦ flop, Costa checked to Aziz, who continued for 10,000. Costa immediately check-raised to 25,000, and Aziz had his cards in the muck just as quickly.
