Wright With a Six-Figure Stack

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Keith Wright
Keith Wright

Keith Wright saw action fold to him in the cutoff and opened to 1,700, receiving a call from the player on the button. Josh Saltz three-bet to 4,800 in the small blind and only Wright called, taking action heads up to the flop {10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Saltz checked to Wright, who fired out a bet of 4,000. Saltz looked down to his stack and counted what he had remaining, taking a few moments and finding a fold.

"I'll show you one, just 'cuz," said Wright as he tabled {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a set.

"Nice hand," said Saltz.

"I showed you out of respect," Wright added.

"Preesh," Saltz responded.

"That's What I Get for Playing that Shit"

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
John Smith
John Smith

An all in and call were overheard as a preflop raising war resulted in John Smith's stack of 41,300 getting into the middle under the gun against Peter Johnson, who was in the cutoff.

John Smith: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Peter Johnson: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The flop came {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades} to leave Johnson out in front, with Smith picking up a backdoor heart draw to go along with his two outs to a set. The turn {3-Hearts} came behind it.

"Wow," said tablemate Dapo Ajayi as he realized the backdoor possibility was real. It then completed on the river {10-Hearts} to improve Smith to a flush and best Johnson's aces.

"Wow," Smith said after the runout completed. "That's what I get for playing that shit," he added in a joking manner.

Collins on Two Starting Stacks

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Greg Collins saw his starting stack of 30,000 dip as low as 6,000 in the first hour of the afternoon before getting back to around 20,000, something he was overheard saying felt "like a million."

Collins just caught up with PokerNews to confirm he had tripled his prior stack, which was a little below 20K at the time. He since took down another pot, and now has double what he started with after spending over three hours grinding a lesser stack size.

Johnson Wins a Massive One

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Peter Johnson
Peter Johnson

Dapo Ajayi opened the action with a raise to 1,000 in early position and received a call from Peter Johnson in middle position. Aaron Frei three-bet to 5,000 in the cutoff and Jim Morrison cold-called in the big blind. Ajayi also called and then Johnson announced an raise to 10,000, doing so by mistake and prompting a five-bet to 16,000.

Morrison called all in for less, and Ajayi and Johnson also called to give Morrison a shot at quadrupling his stack while the other three continued to the flop {4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

"Check," said Ajayi, first to act. Johnson then shoved all in for 36,200, sending Frei into the tank for over a minute before finding a call. Ajayi then deliberated whether or not to put his remaining chips into the middle, eventually opting not to do so.

Jim Morrison: {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Peter Johnson: {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Aaron Frei: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Johnson's set of fours was out in front and improved further to a full house on the turn {a-Clubs}. However, the card also gave Frei six outs to improve to a bigger full house, leaving Johnson with a sweat to the river. Fortunately for him, {6-Hearts} completed the runout and a total pot of more than 130,000 was shipped his way.

Gutierrez Forces Everybody Out

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Andrew Miller limped under the gun and Zach Gutierrez limped behind, one seat over. Justin Liberto was next to act and pumped it up to 2,300, receiving calls from the hijack and small blind as well as Miller. Gutierrez then limp-jammed for around 26,000.

Action folded back to Miller, who thought out loud for about 20 seconds before saying, "Okay, I'm gonna fold. But I wanna see."

Gutierrez jovially nodded and tabled {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} after Miller sent his cards to the muck.

Ladies Treat Frei Well

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Aaron Frei
Aaron Frei

Multiple all-ins and a call were overheard coming from Table 13 on a board reading {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Mike Wheeler was in the big blind and had both players covered, competing for both pots with Aaron Frei in the cutoff while a third player had his eyes set on a triple from middle position.

Middle Position: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Aaron Frei: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Mike Wheeler: {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Frei needed to fade clubs and aces to scoop and did just that as the turn {10-Spades} and river {k-Spades} completed the runout to bring him just shy of 100K as Level 4 looks to come to a close.
