Keeline Falls To Dixon

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Another all in and a call were heard as Ben Keeline and Rich Dixon got stacks in on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Prior to the flop, Keeline had defended his big blind versus an open from Nick Pupillo from middle position and a flat from Dixon on the button.

Rich Dixon: {j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Ben Keeline: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Keeline found himself with top two pair but was not ahead by much versus the bottom pair and flush draw that Dixon held. The turn {10-Hearts} kept Keeline ahead, but he was unable to dodge the river {q-Diamonds} and stood up to leave the table and head back to the registration desk to re-enter. He has just been seated in a different seat at the same table.

Adrian Buckley
Adrian Buckley

Ben Keeline opened to 2,000 from early position and action folded around to Greg Collins, who was on the button and called. Collins had rebought since his last elimination and had built his stack up to around 65,00 to start the hand.

Action was then on Adrian Buckley in the small blind, who took close to a minute before putting out a three-bet to 9,500. Keeline asked to confirm the amount and sent his cards to the muck, putting action back on Collins, who called.

The flop came {8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn fell {q-Hearts} and Buckley bet out 8,000. Collins called.

The dealer burned and turned the river {a-Hearts} and Buckley checked. Collins checked behind.

Buckley tabled {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Collins mucked, resulting in Buckley saying that he knew he should have bet the river as the pot was sent his way.

Dixon Gets Another Knockout

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Rich Dixon was in the process of having a pot sent to him with a tabled hand of {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} on a board of {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} while another player was getting up from his seat.

According to Dixon, he opened to 2,300 from under the gun and was three-bet by his opponent in early position to 5,300. Action folded back to him and he called. He then check-called a 6,000 continuation-bet on the flop.

On the turn, both players checked. Dixon fired on the river and was raised all in. He called and it was revealed his opponent had {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a missed nut-flush draw, resulting in Dixon earning the pot and adding back to his stack.

Austin Peck opened to 1,800 under the gun and received three calls from Greg Gius in early position, a player in middle position, and a third player. Action then folded to Thomas Fuller in the big blind, who three-bet to 11,000. Gius called and the player in middle position did as well, taking action three ways to the streets.

The flop came {7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and both Fuller and Gius checked. The middle-position player shoved for around 26,000, putting aciton back on Fuller, who put in one chip to signify a call. Gius folded, later saying he had two jacks.

Thomas Fuller: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Middle-Position Player: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}

"Agh! Good check," the all-in player said, realizing he needed another nine, a king, or running spades in order to stay alive. The turn {3-Clubs} left him with one more chance at five outs, none of which he hit as the dealer burned and turned the river {7-Spades} to send him to the rail.

John Cohen opened from middle position to 1,500 and received a call from Austin Peck in the cutoff. The small blind also called and Mitch Lekarczyk defended his big blind, bringing action four ways to the flop {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

Action checked to Peck, who bet 2,500. Both the small blind and Lekarczyk called, putting action back on Cohen, who check-raised to 10,000. Peck called and the small blind and Lekarczyk got out of their way.

The dealer brought the turn {2-Clubs} and Cohen bet another 10,000. Peck stuck around to bring the river {9-Diamonds}, where both players checked to showdonw.

"King," Cohen announced. Peck tabled {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Cohen mucked, resulting in the pot being sent Peck's way.

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Joseph Giampietro had opened from middle position and was three-bet to 5,500 from Eddie Konarske, who was on the button. Giampietro put out a four-bet to 13,000 and Konarske called.

The flop fell {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts} and Giampietro announced he was all in for around 23,000. Konarske quickly called.

Joseph Giampietro: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Eddie Konarske: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The table erupted in laughter about the two of them both having the same hand. As the turn {j-Spades} fell, they talked about how they were happy the other didn't have any jacks in their hand. The river then came {a-Hearts} and they added that they were also happy neither had an ace.
