Ferguson Folds out Fuller

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

There was around 2,800 in the pot on a flop of {6-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Spades} as Richard Ferguson checked from middle position. Thomas Fuller was on the button and bet 1,000. Ferguson put in a check-raise to 3,000 and Fuller thought for a bit before calling.

The turn came {q-Clubs} and Ferguson bet another 6,000. Fuller went into the tank again for close to a minute before sliding his cards forward to the dealer, giving up his contention of the pot along the way.

Despite the lost pot, Fuller has chipped up to nearly three starting stacks at the current moment.

Nader Wahdan

With around 2,000 in the pot on a board of {5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Clubs}, the big blind put out a bet of 1,800. Action was on Nader Wahdan who called from the hijack.

The river came {k-Diamonds} and the big blind bet another 2,500. Wahdan thought for close to a minute, counting his stack in the process, before tossing in chips to call.

"is that a call?" asked the big blind. The dealer confirmed it was.

"I got nothin'," he said. "Jack high," he added, showing {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

Wahdan showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for two pair.

"Good call," the big blind said as the dealer sent Wahdan the pot. "Great call," he added.

Tinkle Trickles To Zero

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Andy Tinkle
Andy Tinkle

Andy Tinkle had seen his stack steadily decline throughout the first two hours of the afternoon, having spent most of the last half hour with around 5,000 in chips. He eventually found himself down to just 900 and went all in from early position over an under-the-gun limp.

Action folded to Greg Geller, who was in the big blind, and confirmed the amount before calling. The limper from under the gun came along as well and the dealer announced that any future action between the two remaining players would be for a side pot.

The flop came {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Spades} and both players checked. Geller bet 2,000 on the turn {3-Spades} and received a call. He then fired another 9,000 on the river {k-Diamonds} and his opponent folded.

"You've got me," said Tinkle as he tabled {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for rivered trips on a four-flush board.

Geller did, in fact, have him as he tabled {9-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flopped flush and collected both pots.

There was around 5,400 in the pot on a flop of {3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Greg Geller threw out a bet of 3,500 from under the gun. His opponent was in the hijack and called.

The turn came {7-Diamonds} and Geller fired another 3,800 forward. His opponent went into the tank and eventually folded.

Geller now finds himself with a lot of physical chips in front of him, though only one of them is a red, T5,000 chip.

There was at least 1,500 in the pot from preflop action going four ways to a flop of {6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. The big blind checked and Greg Geller bet 800 from early positon. A player in middle position called, as did Thomas Fuller, who was on the button.

Action was back on the big blind and he clicked it back, raising to 1,600. All three players called.

The turn came {10-Spades} and action saw four checks to the river {2-Clubs}. The big blind led out with a bet of 2,500 and Geller and the player in middle position folded. Fuller put in chips to call.

The big blind tabled {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for trip aces and Fuller showed {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for trip aces with his seven kicker proving to be good for the pot.
