Both Bjørn Roger Dale and Vaakko Kayhko began today as short stacks. Both players have thus far survived the opening level with Kayhko getting breathing room early and Dale barely hanging on.
Things changed a bit for both players after the battled it out in the following hand.
Dale open-jammed for 8,700 into a pot of more than 5,000 on a 
flop and got a call from Kayhko.

Dale had an advantage in the hand with an overpair with Kayhko needing some help in order to eliminate his opponent. Kayhko was unable to improve his hand after the

Kayhko still had more chips after the hand than he started the day with while Dale got a much needed double up.
