Seven Until the Money

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Coolbet Open
Coolbet Open

The money bubble is not that far away with 46 players remaining and 39 getting paid. Once the bubble breaks, the remaining players will not only collect at least €1,155 but also come back to Day 3 tomorrow at 12 p.m. EEST when play will resume until a winner is crowned.

Nykkonen Eliminates Djoudat

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Mansour Djoudat
Mansour Djoudat

Aleksandr Konstantinov opened to 11,000. Niko Tapio Nykkonen and Mansour Djoudat called from the small and big blinds.

Nykkonen checked the {3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop. Djoudat jammed for 84,000 and Konstantinov called. Nykkonen went over the top for over 300,000. Konstantinov shook his head and said, "I can't call," before he folded his hand.

Nykkonen: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Djoudat: {Q-Spades}{6-Spades}

Djoudat said he was in trouble before he saw his opponent's cards. He laughed when he saw his opponent had both the nut-straight and a straight-flush draw.

"Seven, seven," shouted Djoudat hoping for one of the three remaining sevens to give him a chop in the hand.

However, he pleas went unheard as the turn came {A-Clubs} and the {J-Spades} completed the board on the river.

After seeing the {J-Spades}, Konstantinov said under his breath that he had {j-}{j-}. However, even if true, nailing the set on the river wouldn't have helped the Finn.

If you are at or near the casino and looking for tremendous value, you should consider a €60 satellite with €50 rebuys and add-ons that is guaranteeing three seats to tomorrow's €1,100 High Roller.

Right now there are only five players, meaning there should be sick value for anyone that plays.

Estonian Jesus Was Walking on Thin Ice

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Rauno Tahvonen

Tom Sundqvist raised from middle position to 11,000 and Rauno "Estonian Jesus" Tahvonen defended his big blind.

Tahvonen led out for 11,000 on a {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop and Sundqvist raised to 33,000. Tahvnonen then three-bet jammed for 110,000 and got a call.

Rauno Tahvonen: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Tom Sundqvist: {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Tahvonen had top pair but was a slight dog to Sunqvist with a flush draw and two over cards. Tahvonen's odds improved to win the hand after the {j-Clubs} appeared on the turn and doubled up after the {a-Diamonds} appeared on the river.

After the hand was over, Tahvonen appeared relieved and shared with PokerNews, "This isn't a play a normally make," shared Tahvonen. "In this case, it was player dependent."

Kristoffer Skolem
Kristoffer Skolem

Mette-Marica Puromäki jammed with {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and was flipping against the {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} held by Kristoffer Skolem.

Puromäki appeared the swear in Finnish after the flop came {3-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Hearts} and got up from her seat. She continued to walk away as the {3-Hearts} and {2-Hearts} completed the board and was eliminated in 55th place.

After the hand, the floor announced that all tables would now be eight max for the duration of the tournament.

Jussi Mattila
Jussi Mattila

Jussi Mattila finished runner-up in two big tournaments in April including the MPNPT Main Event for €20,900. He will not be able to add another runner-up performance or even a cash after he got it all-in with {A-}{Q-} and got looked up by two other players with {7-}{7-} and {q-}{q-}.

The board was of no help and Mattila quickly left the tournament area in 61st place.

Kyosti Isberg: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Johnny Johansen: {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
