Bremseth Off to a Hot Start

Norway's Terje Bremseth just got into the tournament and is off to a hot start having moved to the action table with Jan Christian Kongsgaard and Anton Komissarov.
We caught up with a hand after the 
came on the flop with about 12,000 in the middle. A player checked before Bremseth bet 7,250. Komissarov thought for a moment before he folded. Kongsgaard then tanked for a few minutes and was mumbling some numbers to himself.

Bad Start for Laanemets

It seemed nothing could go wrong for Gert Laanemets during the last Coolbet Open Main Event Day 1a in October where he ended the day as the chip leader. Today, it seems nothing could go right for the Estonian who is down to 6,000 in chips.
Mathias Siljander and Gert Laanements check the 
flop before Laanemets bets 700 into a pot of around 3,000. Villem-Henrik Koitmaa folded before Siljander and Pan Sandmo both called.
It was checked around to Laanemets again after the came on the turn and he bet 2,100 leaving 6,000 behind. Siljander quickly folded and Sandmo called after pausing for a minute.
Sandmo quickly checked after the completed the board on the river. Laanemets paused for 30 seconds before he checked behind. Sandmo turned over for the flush and scooped the pot after Laanemets tossed his hand into the muck.

Wahl Gets Lucky

Sebastian Wahl won the first-ever Coolbet Open Main Event at this time last year. It was looking like he would need more than one bullet to have a chance to do so today but just sucked out against Annika Haaviste.
Haaviste opened from early position to 800 and got two players to call before Wahl jammed for 3,400. Haaviste four-bet to over 7,000 and the other two players folded.
