Artur Kulanurk was first to act and raised to 120,000 with A♦Q♥. Asgeir Lund called 10♥9♥ in the cutoff, after which big blind Ole Wasenius pushed in his stack of 915,000 holding 9♠9♣.
Kulanurk folded after some deliberation, and Lund quickly followed suit. Wasenius was sent the pot and chipped up to 20 big blinds.
Asgeir Lund made it 110,000 in middle position. Kai Tiainen decided to commit his last 395,000 in the cutoff, and Lund instantly called once it had folded back to him.

Tiainen only had one overcard to the queens of Lund. The 6♣6♦J♦A♠ turn added a ten as out to Tiainen's arsenal, but the 4♠ river changed nothing. Tiainen waved off in eighth place, seeing Lund cross the four-million mark.
Ole Wasenius raised to 100,000 in late position. Frederic Janik then three-bet jammed for 675,000 in the hijack, which Maksim Belomestnoi called in the small blind.
Wasenius quickly mucked his A♦7♦, leaving the remaining duo to show down.

Janik turned some extra outs as 10♣10♠5♠7♠ gave him a flush draw, but the river came an inconsequential 9♦. The Frenchman was the first player eliminated from the final table and took home €4,700 for his efforts.
Guillermo Gordo open-shoved on the button, and Torgeir Ravlo quickly called all in for 660,000 in the big blind.

Ravlo needed an ace to remain in contention, but the 6♠J♦2♣7♣10♥ board brought none. Ravlo said his goodbyes in tenth place, bubbling the final table, which Gordo would begin as chipleader.
Kristjan Maasalu made it 140,000 to go in the small blind, which Guillermo Gordo called in the big blind. Maasalu checked the 3♦Q♥4♠ flop over to Gordo, who placed a small bet of 80,000.
Maasalu called, and the dealer placed the 2♠ on the turn. After Maasalu had checked again, Gordo sized up significantly, betting 330,000. After some thought, Maasalu slid in a call, and the 8♣ river was dealt.
A third check followed by Maasalu. Gordo then dropped 695,000 in the middle, which Maasalu snapped off. Gordo tabled 6♦5♦ for the nut straight, leaving the Q♦2♦ of Maasalu in the dust.
Gordo chipped up to over 80 big blinds, becoming second in chips with ten players remaining.
Torsti Kettula open-shipped from the cutoff for 585,000. It folded to Guillermo Gordo in the big blind, who quickly called with the covering stack.

Gordo immediately paired his queen on the 5♥Q♠10♥ flop, taking a big lead. The 7♦ turn and 5♠ river could not save Kettula, who left the field in 11th place, leaving the Main Event on the final table bubble.
Kristjan Maasalu sat in the cutoff and raised to 80,000. It folded to the short-stacked Monica Vaka in the big blind, who looked at her cards before shipping in her remaining 290,000.
Maasalu asked for a count, making the call once he had heard the correct number.

Vaka received no help on the K♦J♠2♥ flop, and the 7♣ turn locked up the pot for Maasalu. The meaningless 6♣ river completed the board as Vaka gathered her belongings and left the TV table.
Ole Wasenius raised to 100,000 on the button. Asgeir Lund called in the big blind before he checked the 10♠5♣7♣ flop over to Wasenius. Wasenius bet another 100,000, which Lund quickly raised to 300,000.
Wasenius then went all in for 520,000. Lund let his opponent know he was not happy with the situation, but deemed his odds too good and called off.

The 3♣ turn brought a sweat as it provided Lund with a flush draw. The 5♠ river was clean for Wasenius, however, and he doubled up to a seven-figure stack.
In a five-bet pot, Jo Andersen got his stack of 725,000 in from early position against Guillermo Gordo under the gun.

The J♥7♣J♠10♦ turn provided a change for Andersen's ace-king, but Gordo's aces were not threatened by the 6♣ river. He scooped up the chips and eliminated Andersen in 13th place.
Artur Kulanurk raised to 60,000 in the hijack. Knut Gronli then three-bet to 175,000 in the cutoff, and was put all-in by Kulanurk once it had folded back to him.
Gronli debated for a few moments before he called off his stack of 650,000, putting himself at risk.
