Novoselov Leads Himself to Early Exit

Level 2 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Picking up the action on a A548 turn, Viacheslav Novoselov checked from the big blind to Kristen Merila in the cutoff. Merila added 2,500 to the pot of 13,300, and Brage Aasen called on the button.

Novoselov also called, after which he promptly moved all in for 8,400 on the Q river. Merila asked for a count, then called, while Aasen quickly folded.

Novoselov sighed as he showed A2, not enough to best the 55 of Merila.

Blomberg sized up to 5,000 on the 6 turn. Kristiansen flicked in a small raise to 11,000, folding out Oystein. Blomberg quickly pushed in his stack of 21,000, and Kristiansen called after a few seconds of thought.
