Ladies Night

Lori Bandelloni open-shoved her last 47,000 from early position, and the action folded to Peter Campo, who called from the hijack seat. The rest of the players folded, and the hands were opened.

Bandelloni: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Campo: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop was dry, but the {q-Diamonds} spiked on the turn, giving Bandelloni a leading pair of queens. The {5-Diamonds} completed the board, and Bandelloni successfully doubled through.

Jared Jaffee (Day 1)
Jared Jaffee (Day 1)

Jared Jaffee checked to Haralambos Saridis on a board of {9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, and Saridis tossed out 6,800. Jaffee check-raised all in for 38,600, and Saridis quickly called.

Jaffee: {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Saridis: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {9-Spades} on the turn gave Jaffee a full house, but he could still be eliminated by a queen on the river.

The river was not one of the two remaining queens in the deck, rather it was the {4-Clubs}. Jaffee doubled to around 90,000 chips, while Saridis slipped to 50,000.

Selbst Wins a Strange One

Vanessa Selbst (Day 1)
Vanessa Selbst (Day 1)

Vanessa Selbst opened to 3,500 in late position, and Sherwin Agard defended his big blind.

While the dealer was preparing the flop, Agard shouted at a camera man, telling him to film the hand.

The flop fell {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Hearts}, and Agard checked. Selbst continued for 3,400, and Agard called.

The turn was the {2-Spades}, Agard knuckled again, and Selbst fired 6,700. Again, Agard called.

Before the dealer could burn another card, Agard checked. "Be careful," he warned Selbst.

The river card was the {6-Diamonds}, and as soon as it hit the felt, Agard folded. A befuddled Selbst mucked her hand, and was shipped the pot.
