Stanislav Zegal had limped under the gun and called the pot-sized raise of Lucas van den Belt on the button. He then checked the 9♥4♦Q♣ flop over to Van den Belt, who bet 43,000.
Zegal called to the 6♦ turn, which both players checked. Zegal bet 50,000 on the 8♠ river, only to be raised to 140,000. Zegal spent a while in the tank, using a couple of time banks, before he found a call.
Van den Belt tabled A♣J♣10♥8♥ for the nut straight, and Zegal calmly added his cards to the muck in defeat.
Shortly after winning a big pot, Lucas van den Belt was involved in another huge one.
On a completed board of 7♥10♠2♥4♥K♠, Ole Schemion had checked from the big blind to Van den Belt under the gun. Van den Belt fired a pot-sized bet of 361,000, sending Schemion in the tank.
Eventually, the German poker legend called. Van den Belt tapped the table as he turned over A♥K♦J♦8♣ for a bluff. Schemion showed 10♥9♥5♦2♦ for a flush, and soared to a seven-figure stack as a result.
Van den Belt was left with less than 100,000, and he was eliminated shortly after.
Danyil Zaremba raised to 15,000 in the hijack. Carlo van Ravenswoud called on the button, and Dario Alioto defended his big blind.
The trio checked through the A♠K♥J♦ flop, after which the 7♠ fell on the turn. Alioto bet out 13,000, Zaremba called, and Van Ravenswoud folded.
The 7♣ river quickly checked to showdown. Alioto tabled Q♠10♠10♥8♥ for Broadway, and he received two thumbs up from Zaremba before the latter mucked his cards.

Daniel Birkmose had raised an earlier limp, to which Ole Schemion responded by three-betting from the small blind. Birkmose then shoved all in for about 275,000, being snapped off by Schemion.
Daniel Birkmose: K♥K♦10♥4♣
Ole Schemion: A♠A♣10♣6♦
Schemion's aces remained the best hand on the J♥8♣2♣6♥3♦ runout, sending Birkmose to a late-night exit.
Harry Casagrande limped in from middle position. Anton Suarez followed suit in the hijack before Andras Nemeth raised to 52,000 in the cutoff. Espen Myrmo three-bet to 179,000 on the button, quickly folding out the limpers.
Nemeth called to a 10♣4♥2♠ flop, however, where he check-called the all-in of 313,000 from Myrmo.
Espen Myrmo: A♥A♦9♣4♦
Andras Nemeth: A♣7♥6♥4♣
Myrmo made two pair on the 9♦ turn, which remained best on the 6♦ river. He raked in a seven-figure double-up as Day 1b entered its last 30 minutes.
A massive pot of 500,000 was spotted between Andras Nemeth and Corel Theuma. The completed board read K♣2♠4♥4♠2♥, with Nemeth moving all in for 385,000.
Theuma asked for a count twice before he shrugged and called off.
"Ace-king," Nemeth declared as he showed A♥K♥Q♦3♥. Theuma acknowledged Nemeth had the best hand, tabling Q♥J♠J♦10♠ for a no-good pair of jacks.
