2025 PLO Grand Slam
Fahredin Mustafov had opened from middle position before "Jay", who recently reentered, got his 150,000 in against him from the cutoff.
"Jay": A♣K♠K♦J♥
Fahredin Mustafov: A♠K♥8♠3♣
Mustafov asked for spades, but not enough came on the 6♥Q♥7♦2♥4♠ board. "Jay"s kings held up as he booked a late double on Day 1b.
"Deleted" threw in their final 27,000 from the cutoff and was called by Tom Vogelsang on the button. Oswin Ziegelbecker defended his big blind and led out for 25,000 on the 4♠7♣5♦ flop.
Vogelsang tossed in a calling chip before he was checked to on the 8♥ turn. He put in a bet of 75,000, which Ziegelbecker called.
The A♣ river completed the board, causing Ziegelbecker to check once more. Vogelsang then put his opponent all-in for roughly 250,000.
Ziegelbecker did not spend much time before folding. Vogelsang showed Q♣10♠8♠6♣ for a straight and won both the main and side pot when "Deleted" tossed their cards into the muck.
Bernd Gleissner raised to 25,000 on the button. Nikolaos Lampropoulos three-bet to 80,000 from the big blind, after which Gleissner instantly put him all-in for 259,000.
Lampropoulos sighed but decided he could not get away and made the call.
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: J♣10♥9♥8♣
Bernd Gleissner: A♥K♦Q♠8♥
Neither player was particularly thrilled seeing the other's hand, but Gleissner was a lot less thrilled when the J♥J♦5♣ flop made Lampropoulos trips. The 3♣ turn left Gleissner drawing dead.
The 9♦ river was dealt to upgrade Lampropoulos to a unnecessary full house as he doubled up to over 50 big blinds.
Level: 10
Blinds: 5,000/10,000
Ante: 10,000
Diamond Poker Ambassador Max Kruse raised to 20,000 under the gun and called the three-bet of 72,000 that "Lion King" put forth.
The flop of J♥6♦5♥ was not to Kruse's liking, however, as he quickly check-folded to a continuation-bet.
Meanwhile, the top three stacks in the field have widened the gap between them and the rest.
"Bababoy" got his stack of 115,000 in from the cutoff against "Dima" in the big blind and was at risk.
"Bababoy": A♣K♠9♦9♣
"Dima": A♠A♥J♠7♥
"Dima"s aces faced no issues on the Q♦3♦6♦J♣2♥ board, sending "Bababoy" to the rail.
"Phil Ejri" had made a raise from the cutoff when Hossein Ensan tossed in his final 56,000 from the small blind. "Phil Ejri" instantly made the call and the cards went face-up.
Hossein Ensan: 10♥9♠8♠5♠
"Phil Ejri": A♠Q♥3♠2♥
Both players made a flush on the 7♠10♦2♠A♦6♠ board, but "Phil Ejri"s ace-high flush bested Ensan's sending the latter home.
"Bruno Schulz" raised to 28,000 under the gun. It folded to Fabian Riebau-Schmithals on the button, who three-bet the pot, after which "Bruno Schulz" quickly jammed all in for 120,000.
Riebau-Schmithals complied with the extra chips and the cards went on their backs.
"Bruno Schulz": A♥K♠Q♠8♦
Fabian Riebau-Schmithals: A♦K♥K♣10♥
Riebau-Schmithals made aces and tens on the 2♠10♦7♠8♣A♣ board, besting the aces and eights of "Bruno Schulz" and sending them to the rail.
