Denaro, Karlsson Chop Up an Opponent

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Steinn Karlsson three-bet to 16,000 from middle position and was called by Sergio Denaro in the big blind, as well as another opponent in early position.

All three players checked the A7J flop before the player in early position bet 16,000 on the A turn. Karlsson called, while Denaro also stuck around to see the 9 river.

Denaro checked again and the early-position player also checked. Karlsson tapped the felt behind and tabled QQ. Denaro also showed QQ and their opponent mucked as Karlsson and Denaro chopped the pot.

Tournament big stack Julian Diaz Ubeda and Daniel Rueda were heads-up on a board of K9QK5 and around 20,000 in the pot when Diaz Ubeda, in the cutoff, slid forward a tower of purple 500 chips for a bet of 10,000.

Rueda spent a few moments chatting with Diaz Ubeda before tossing in two orange 5,000 chips to call. Diaz Ubeda then turned over J10 for a straight and Rueda flashed the 10 before mucking.

Diaz Ubeda Keeps Climbing, Perez Not Far Behind

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

In a three-way pot, Julian Diaz Ubeda bet 6,500 on a flop of 326 from middle position and only Leo Petit called in early position.

The turn came the J and Ubeda fired out another 15,000. Petit folded and Ubeda flashed KK as he took in the pot to climb up around 300,000.

Ace Good Enough For Poulet

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Big Blind: Q7
Kevin Poulet: AK

Poulet was ahead with his ace-high as the board ran out 2J659. Neither player made a pair and Poulet's ace secured him the pot and the knockout.
