Tulepbergenov Picks Up Back to Back Premiums to Knock Out Komorowski

Adam Komorowski opened to 20,000 from early position and picked up calls from players in the cutoff and button before Azamat Tulepbergenov raised to 120,000 from the small blind. Komorowski then put in a four-bet to 300,000, forcing folds from the players in the cutoff and button. Tulepbergenov five-bet shoved for 531,000 and Komorowski called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Komorowski's queens were dominated in a nasty cooler. He found no help on the 10♦9♠2♦ flop but the J♥ turn gave him an open-ended straight draw. He found no further improvement on the 4♦ river and Tulepbergenov scored a massive double up while Komorowski was left with just over six big blinds.

The very next hand, Komorowski shoved for 62,000 from under the gun and was called again by Tulepbergenov.

Life Outside Poker w/ Connor Richards is a new podcast for PokerNews that focuses on poker players with successful careers and lives outside of poker.

For the third episode, Connor spoke with high-stakes poker player, politician and entrepreneur Antanas "Tony G" Guoga. In the interview, Tony G spoke about growing up in Lithuania, founding PokerNews in the early 2000s, getting into European politics later in life and his favorite televised poker moments.

He also opened up about clashing with players like Phil Hellmuth in televised games and even issued a heads-up challenge to the Poker Brat. Will Hellmuth take him on, or is he, like Tony G said, "afraid to ever play me again?"

Yahya Oguz opened to 16,000 from under the gun and Uladzimir Zhyharau three-bet to 50,000 from the button. Hassan Nashar called from the big blind and Oguz called as well.

The flop came J♣8♣7♠. Nashar checked, Oguz bet 100,000, Zhyharau called and Nashar folded.

On the Q♥ turn Oguz moved all in, covering Zhyharau who had about 150,000 behind. Zhyharau called and was at risk.

Zhyharau had picked the wrong time to make a hero call and was drawing to just six outs against Oguz' set of sevens. Zhyharau couldn't catch a nine or a ten on the 4♦ river and was sent to the rail while Oguz continued to add chips to his already formidable stack.

Hamnett bet another 15,000 on the Q♥ river and Tuzhik raised to 100,000. Hamnett's hand hit the muck and Tuzhik took the pot without showdown.
