Mats Rahmn Sends One to the Rail

Mats Rahmn
Mats Rahmn
Facing a 1,200 pre-flop raise from a player on the button, Mats Rahmn kicked it up to 4,200 from the small blind. An opponent in the big blind made the call and was all in for his last 2,400; the original raiser got out of the way.

At the showdown, Rahmn tabled {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and found himself in a coin-flip situation against his opponent's pocket nines. By the turn, the board read {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} leaving Rahmn drawing to six outs with one card to come. Fortunately for the young Swede, the {Q-Hearts} was one of those outs and it fell on the river, sending the pot to Mats and his opponent to the rail.

After the win, the T6 sponsored pro stacked up just under 40,000 in chips.

Kastle Loses a Monster Pot to Flink

Just before the break, American and former tournament chip leader Casey Kastle tangled with Swede Robert Flink in what was likely the biggest pot of the tournament thus far.

Flink and Kastle got it all in pre-flop, Flink holding {A-Spades}{K-Spades} and Kastle, pocket jacks. The board ran out {4-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades} in favor of Flink who made trip aces to rake in the 50,000+ pot. Kastle was left with just under 15,000 after the hand.

Kolk Crippled by Okumus

T6 sponsored pro Marek Kolk has just been crippled by German foe Alp Okumus. Kolk took A-K to battle against Okumus' {10-Spades}{7-Spades}. "My birthday," Okumus told us, in reference to his hand. "Nobody beats me on my birthday," the German said.

An early present, the dealer spread a {2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} board giving Okumus a jack-high flush and almost 20,000 in new chips. Kolk was left with just 3,500 after the hand.

James Honeybone Suffers a Setback

James Honeybone
James Honeybone
On a {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop, James Honeybone raised a 3,000 bet to 8,000, and then faced an all-in coming back at him for 12,000 total. Priced in, he made the call and showed {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} which was a long way behind the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} of his opponent. No help on the turn or river and the New Zealander loses a 27,000-chip pot.

Anastasyadis Making Strides

Kosta Anastasyadis
Kosta Anastasyadis
Short-stacked to the point where he was going all in practically every third hand, T6 Poker's Kosta Anastasyadis has made a monumental comeback, surviving each and every all-in and chipping back up to stack of approximately 12,000.
