Terrazas Not Taking It Easy

Santiago Terrazas raised -- to a very non-standard 225,000, a third of his stack.

Everyone folded, unsurprisingly, and while the crowd (who seem well into their cups already) celebrating at high volume, he picked up 110,000 in blinds and the like.

Singing From the Terrazas

Mihai Manole made it 130,000 on the button but Santiago Terrazas moved all in for 450,000 from the small blind. Manole took his time, eyeing up Terrazas, who made a comedy shaky-hand gesture to the delight of his incredibly excitable railers.

Eventually Manole passed -- and Terrazas showed him {9-Hearts} {8-Spades}. The railers went nuts.

Plenty to Experience in Barcelona

It's not all about the poker here in Barcelona. In fact, many of the players have taken time to spend their time off browsing the city and taking in all they can from the experience. For those of you that haven't been to Barcelona and would like to know exactly what there is to see around this marvelous city, Melissa's here to take you on a quick tour. Park Guell, Sagrada Famillia and Casa Batllo are featured.

Ship the Lolly to Lapossie

Matt Lapossie raised to 120,000 again. This time he got looked up by Mihai Manole in the big blind called and they saw a {6-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} flop.

Manole checked, and Lapossie open-folded! No, that's a lie -- he actually continuation-bet 155,000. Manole folded, and Lapossie inexplicably declared, "Ship the sherbet to Herbert," as he raked in the pot.

Who's on the Rail? No One

Browsing the rail around the final table, there wasn't anyone of note standing out in the crowd. Asa Smith was over on the rail while a hand was in progress at the table and chatting with some mates. His friends all seem to be huddled in one corner of the stands while Santiago Terrazas has all of his fans (and there are plenty) over on the opposite corner.

Just because there aren't any big notables on the rail, doesn't mean things won't get interesting. The fans are really into the action and as the day rolls on, the enthusiasm will surely show. Oh, and they're already drinking.

On the live commentary, Jason Mercier has picked out Carter Phillips to be the favorite of the table. He mentioned, "Carter picks his spots well and just his stack size as well." We'll see if his prediction comes true.
