Ojala Doubles Again, Through Aggro Bueno

Oh yeah, Ojala
Oh yeah, Ojala
Mihai Manole opened for 40,000 and Patrick Bueno called behind. Over to Toni Ojala who pushed for 294,000. Manole gave it up, but Bueno called. As the EPT Live commentators noted, "Bueno likes a call."

Bueno: {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}
Ojala: {9-Hearts} {9-Spades}

Flop: {K-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}

Turn: {2-Hearts}

River: {9-Diamonds}!

Thus Ojala doubles up again and is over the 600,000 mark. Bueno, meanwhile, has dropped from a massive stack at the start of the day to a mere 187,000 now.

Timex-ing A Shove

Cornel Cimpan raised to 35,000 UTG and Mike McDonald reraised to 85,000 from the button. Cimpan called and they saw a {8-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {8-Clubs} flop which both players checked.

Cimpan led out for 75,000 on the {J-Spades} turn and a static McDonald thought for about a minute before raising all-in. Cimpan thought briefly but elected to fold.

Kyllonen At One Million

After betting the flop and getting called by Jens Kyllonen, Patrick Bueno checked the turn on a board of {K-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {J-Spades}. Kyllonen took control with a bet of 140,000. Bueno called.

The river was the {2-Clubs} and Bueno checked again. Kyllonen fired a whopping 410,000 into the pot and Bueno folded. Kyllonen is now at one million chips.

Jan Boubli Busts in 18th Place (€26,000)

A Boubli personality
A Boubli personality
Cornel Cimpan raised under the gun and Jan Boubli called behind. Over to Ari Kolpanitzki in the big blind, who reraised all in. Cimpan gave it up, but with a sigh, Boubli made the call.

Boubli: {6-Clubs} {6-Spades}
Kolpanitzki: {K-Clubs} {K-Spades}

Board: {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {A-Spades}

Thus the Israeli is back in the game, while Boubli who only just covered him was down to just 18,000, which went in under the gun the very next hand.

Boubli was holding {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} but Cornel Cimpan picked up pocket tens in the big blind. No help from the board for Boubli, and out he went. "Bye everyone," said he.

Oleksandr Vaserfirer moved all in for his last 175,000 and action folded to Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier in the big blind. He called all in for his last 125,000.

ElkY held {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} but was behind Vaserfirer's {A-Spades} {3-Spades}.

The board ran out {7-Spades} {5-Clubs} {2-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} and ElkY finished in 19th position. There are now just four prior EPT champions left in the field.

Roland's Aces Cracked

Roland de Wolfe raised to 31,000 and action folded to Cornel Cimpan in the big blind. Cimpan moved all in for 239,000 total and was met with a quick call by de Wolfe.

De Wolfe rolled over {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} and Cimpan held {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}.

The flop wasn't pretty for de Wolfe when it came down {K-Spades} {7-Hearts} {5-Hearts}. The turn brought the {8-Spades} and the river the {J-Diamonds}. Cracking de Wolfe's aces has now given Cimpan 500,000 chips. De Wolfe dropped to 550,000.
