Reinkemeier and Kapalas Play a Massive Pot

Samer Rahman raised from the cutoff to 26,000. Asa Smith was next to act and raised to 71,000 on the button. Tobias Reinkemeier was in the small blind and went into the tank. After about a minute, he announced a raise and made it 220,000 to go. At this time, Samer Rahman leaned back in his chair and tapped Jens Kyllonen on the shoulder to point out what was going on at his table. He then showed his hand to Kyllonen as action was on the big blind, Georgios Kapalas.

Kapalas asked for a count on the players' stacks in the hand and they all moved their arms so he could see. Then, he moved all in. Rahman folded as did Smith. Reinkemeier has nearly two-thirds of his stack in the middle and made the call.

Reinkemeier held {J-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} and Kapalas held {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. The board ran out {10-Spades} {5-Spades} {2-Hearts} {A-Spades} {2-Spades}, spiking the ace for Kapalas on the turn. He now has 1.2 million chips after being awarded the largest pot of the tournament thus far.
