Last time we saw Anthony Roux he was among the chip leaders on almost 300,000, but he must have suffered some kind of nasty setback as he had far less than that when we witnessed him check-call 12,000 on a flop.
Both he and his opponent checked the turn, and Roux then bet out 20,000 on the river. His opponent called - but mucked when Roux turned over some rather unexpected for a full house to put him back up to 230,000.
ElkY's taken a bit of a hit and is currently perched on a rather less chip-leading, average-y 125,000.
There was some considerable action preflop, and ElkY and his opponent went heads up to the flop. Mr. Opponent bet 20,000 and ElkY made it a hefty 52,200 - but Mr. Opponent went all in and ElkY passed.
To add insult to injury, someone seems to have spilled a drink by the table, making it look as though either ElkY or table neighbour Arnaud Mattern has wet himself. Let's hope that gets cleared up soon.
During the break, the lovely Sandra Naujoks joined Glo for a quick chat. Her English is improving noticeably, though she's apparently still a bit shy about being the center of attention at the table. Check it out:
We caught up with the action on the river as the board showed . There was about 35,000 in the heads-up pot, and Tristan Clemencon checked first to act. His opponent at the far end of the table took due care stacking out a bet, sliding 15,800 into the middle. Clemencon didn't seem to like it, but he eventually made the call.
The bettor tabled , and it was plenty good enough to win him the pot. Clemencon has had quite the roller-coaster day, and he now finds himself back down to about 55,000.
Dario Nittolo opened to 5,400 from late position, and Rui Cao came along with him for a heads-up flop. It came down , and both men would check there, as well as on the turn. On the river, the drew one more check from Nittolo. With less tan 15,000 in the pot, Cao stuck in a big overbet of 40,000.
The move took Nittolo aback as he removed his overly large sunglasses and sunk into his chair. The call would represent more than one third of his stack, and after about a minute of debate, he committed the chips. Cao immediately mucked, and Nittolo showed to take that nice pot.
Cao is back down to just about 200,000 after that slip-up.
Big stacks get bigger as Yann Brosolo raised and then called a reraise from the young qualifier to his immediate left.
They saw a flop and Brosolo checked. Young Qualifier bet, Brosolo raised enough to cover him, and Young Qualifier insta-called - before making a "pff" sound and heading home to curse Brosolo's fine luck.

Brosolo's pyramidal stack is getting rather awkwardly large to count accurately, but it looks to be somewhere in the region of 420,000.
A soon-to-be-busted gentleman raised to 5,000 and Priyan de Mel made it 20,000. Mr. S.T.B.B called.
They both checked the flop, before de Mel bet 5,000 on the turn. Mr. S.T.B.B. shoved, de Mel snap-called, and the cards were flipped.
De Mel:
Actually, the cards weren't quite flipped. Mr. S.T.B.B. mucked his hand as soon as he saw de Mel's, and although he should have been made to turn them over anyway, they'd hit the muck and been lost before anyone could do anything, and de Mel took the pot. De Mel, incidentally, was at this point on the phone to his nephew, who's had a birthday. Happy birthday, young de Mel.
Mr. S.T.B.B. did have some change, but he got it in the very next hand and exited shortly thereafter. De Mel is up to around 150,000.
