board, which Luc "Brother Of Max" Greenwood checked. His opponent bet 21,300, and Greenwood spent some good time tanking up before passing. No feeling sorry for him, though - at 140,000, he's still up there in big stack territory.
The flop brought
and a leading bet from Demel. He fired 8,000 at the pot, and Alain Roy made the call two seats over. Juha Lauttamus then stuck in a raise to 17,400. That was enough to fold the fourth player in the hand, but Demel quickly called. The action was back on Roy, and he moved all in for 24,400 total. Both opponents called, and Roy was at risk going to the turn.It paired the board with the

Both Roy and Lauttamus had flopped the nuts, and Roy was almost freerolling to the straight flush. The two of them would need to dodge a king or an eight to stay alive, and the river was the
-- safe. Demel doubles up both opponents, and he's now shorter than both.
Also having a lovely day is Priyan Demel. After starting with 75,000 or so, he's rocketed right up to 160,000, and is now expressing regret that he's going to have to wait until tomorrow to make the money. Feeling confident, then.
Alexander Milanov, on the other hand, seems to have enjoyed a reversal of fortune - he's up to 38,000 from the 16,500 we counted him with earlier.

Out went Mr. Alix, and Naujoks, looking terribly innocent as she raked in the pot, moved up to around 140,000.

Big Blind:

The big blind's pocket aces would hold up in the end. The button flopped a king, and van den Burg turned a flush draw, but neither man could catch up. For the big blind, that spells a double-up-and-then-some. For van den Berg, it's the end of the road and the end of his tournament.
Silow showed down
, and he was racing for his survival against the Team PokerStars Pro's
. The dealer would show him no favor, though, as the board ran out
. Unable to hold his pocket pair, Oskar Silow has been knocked out of Day 2.Horecki is now quite, quite healthy. After a fine start to his day, the Polish pro is up to 177,000.
