Guldhammer v. Raffey

Morton Guldhammer opened to 20,000 in early position, and Stefan Raffey made the call a couple seats down the line. Heads up, the flop came out {8-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {4-Clubs}. Guldhammer clumsily fired out a continuation bet of 30,000. Raffey studied his fidgety opponent for a minute or two before making the call.

Fourth street brought the {3-Clubs}, and Guldhammer dropped 50,000 chips into the pot from eye level. Raffey again paused to consider before moving all in for about 120,000 total. Guldhammer called the remainder.

Showdown
Guldhammer: {K-Hearts} {4-Hearts}
Raffey: {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}

The nines were ahead for Raffey, and the {A-Hearts} on the river secured his double up. He's essentially traded stacks with Guldhammer, up to about 340,000 now.
