Andrulis, Pettersson Swap Stacks

Richard Loth opened to 27,000 in early position, and Kristijonas Andrulis three-bet to 68,000 two seats over. When action came around to the button, Thomas Pettersson moved all in for 142,000 total. Loth asked if the betting was reopened (it was) before folding. It was 74,000 more to Andrulis, and he cracked a broad smirk. The fact that there was no instant call hinted at his meager holdings, and him chirping, "So bad. So bad," only reaffirmed that. Finally, and reluctantly, Andrulis made the call to put his man at risk. The news wasn't as bad as it could have been:

Andrulis: {J-Spades} {2-Spades}
Pettersson: {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}

The table shared a chuckle when Andrulis turned over his hand, and even he had to laugh at the spot he'd gotten himself into.

Board: {6-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {7-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}. That's safe for Pettersson, and his ace-high earns him a much-needed double up. He's up over 300,000 now, and back in the game. Andrulis has been knocked down to 145,000.
