Chip Leaders Tangling

Romanello and Teng mixing it up
Romanello and Teng mixing it up
With the betting folded around to the blinds, Roberto Romanello raised from the small. In the big, Andrew Teng reraised, and Romanello eventually made the call. It was shaping up to be a battle for the chip lead.

The flop brought out {K-Spades} {4-Clubs} {3-Hearts}, and Romanello checked to the raiser. Teng stuck out a bet of what looked like 100,000 straight, and Romanello obliged him with the call.

Fourth street was the {K-Clubs}, and the action check-checked. The board filled out with the {3-Spades}, and Romanello took the betting lead, firing out 145,000 at the pot. That sent Teng spiraling deep into the tank for several minutes. Eventually, he laid his hand down, and Romanello couldn't resist flashing his airball {5-?} {7-?} as he raked in his loot. It's too close to call right now, but it appears that he's regained the chip lead with that pot as well.
