Flushy Wins Small Pot, Has Epiphany

Wow, a hand where no-one busted or doubled up. They still exist.

We caught up with James "Flushy" Dempsey (cutoff) on the turn of the {9-Spades} {7-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {K-Clubs} board, calling a 35,000 bet from Maurizio Agrello (big blind). Flushy looked confused and concerned.

They both checked the {5-Spades} river and Agrello turned over {9-Clubs} {10-Spades}. "Ah!" said Flushy as though everything in the world had suddenly made sense to him. He turned over {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} and took the pot.

Rinaldi Picks Up a Double

Claudio Rinaldi was all in before the flop with {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}, and he found favorable action from Nicola Pero's dominated {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out safe for the at-risk player: {8-Clubs} {2-Spades} {A-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {3-Spades}. Rinaldi only had about 55,000 to start the hand, and his new stack of about 125,000 gets him at least out of the danger zone for now.
