Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the 2010 EPT Barcelona, brought to you by PokerStars.com.
The sun is shining and we have 112 very happy people because they are all guaranteed a minimum of €7,500 for just turning up today. All 112 people will be trying to make the best decisions possible - and crossing their fingers hoping for some luck - in order to capture the €825,000 first prize and all the glory that goes along with being an EPT Champion.
In the lead as we go into the day is Bryn Kenney. The PokerStars online qualifier has already had a 29th place finish at the WSOPE Main Event and a 28th place finish at the WSOP Main Event this year alone. The American has 693,500 chips.
The action is going to be exciting though because there are some big stacks that are nipping at the heels of Kenney and they belong to the likes of Roman Makhlin, Giuseppe Pantaloe, Dominik Nitsche, Haykel Vidal and Day 1b leader Luis Rufas.
In addition to the big stacks we have a roster of experienced pros such as Roberto Romanello, Carlos Mortenson, Team Pokerstars Pros Matthias de Meulder, Ruben Visser, Leo Fernandez and Betrand “ElkY” Grospellier all in the hunt for the title
