Kevin Stani opened preflop to 1,000 and got one caller in Carlo Misuraca. Stani led out for 1,025 on a and Misuraca quickly called to see the turn where both players cautiously checked.
The river was the and Stani now carefully bet out 2,250 but Misuraca showed no signs of folding, calling and quickly turning over as the Norwegian pro mucked his hand.
We found Ville Wahlbeck betting 4,000 from the cutoff on the river of an board. In the big blind, online qualifier Nikolaus Deininger eyed him up. "You hit the queen?" he mused. "Sevens? Nothing?" He now check-raised to 11,000.
Wahlbeck grinned, and proceeded to tank up for a minute or two, the smile never dropping from his face. "Dunno if I can beat an eight," he said, "You played it well." He called anyway, and Deininger duly turned over for quads. He is up to 60,000, while the Finnish Team Pro is down to 12,000.
We have already concluded that table 13 is the worst one in the room for players seated at it due to its pro heavy nature, which means picking up chips is not only harder to do for them but it is also vital as one mistake could end their night.
James Sudworth has just picked up some much needed chips and currently sits on around 18,200. He open raised to 950 from middle position and picked up three callers in the shape of Andrea Piva in the cutoff, Dmitry Zhukov in the small blind and finally Kevin Stani sat in the big blind.
The dealer put out the flop, both blinds checked then everyone folded when Mr Sudworth fired a continuation bet totalling 2,075. Easy game!
Pierre Neuville is up to around 50,000 after betting out 5,500 on the river of a and getting paid off by Viktor Wessmann who made a "pffft" sound and tossed his cards into the muck when Neuville turned over /
Sandra Naujoks opened to 1,100 preflop, getting called by Michael Tureniec and Bodo Sbrzesny behind her. The flop was a dry-looking and Naujoks fired out 2,300, Tureniec flat-called and Sbrzesny folded.
The turn proved interesting and Naujoks fired a second bullet, this time Tureniec took a little longer but still called the 4,100 bet. Both players checked the river and Naujoks turned over - then the Swede turned over - chopped pot!
The flop read when Sandra Naujoks' chips went in, up against Philip Meulyzer.
Naujoks: for middle set
Meulyzer: for a flush draw
It wasn't the flush that did her in though - the turn and river came the and respectively, making Meulyzer a Broadway straight and sending the EPT Dortmund champion to the rail. Meulyzer is up to 85,000.
