Gesh Is More

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

We didn't think it was possible, but Vladimir Geshkenbein has actually upped the aggression, either raising or reraising three hands in a row.

The first hand didn't actually go his way - he opened to 35,000 under the gun and faced a reraise to 78,000 from Manile Iemino in the cutoff. He called, but check-folded to a 90,000 bet from Iemina on the {j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop.

Next hand, Karen Sarkisyan opened to 35,000 in the hijack, but Geshkenbein shoved from the small blind to cover him. Sarkisyan sadly contemplated his remaining 280,000 for a while before folding.

The hand after that, Kevin Vandersmissen min-raised from the button. Unintimidated by the huge mountain of chips in front of the chip leader, Geshkenbein reraised to 88,000, and Vandersmissen duly passed.
